West Indies will replace Bravo with Devendre Bishoo

According to the fresh news from the cricket field, West Indies have been given permission to call up Devendra Bishoo to their ICC Cricket World Cup squad to replace the injured Dwayne Bravo.

In the meantime, the step was rubber-stamped by the International Cricket Council after Windies vice-captain and key all-rounder Bravo was ruled out of the competition with a left knee injury.

On the other hand, reports show that, “Any injury-based replacement at the World Cup is subject to the final approval of the event's technical committee.”

Therefore, the newly capped player in the West Indies team, Bishoo, a 25-year-old spin bowler, has not been capped by the West Indies.

He has played 21 first-class matches and 13 domestic Twenty20 games and also played for the West Indies A team last year.
