Chennai Super Kings won the toss and will bat first

MS Dhoni-Chennai Super Kings
The captain of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni has won the toss and elected to bat first.

Meanwhile, the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders, Gautam Gambhir lost the toss today, but said it does not matter and they will play their natural game today.

Whatever, it is going to be, but one thing is sure that its going to be real fight.

The wicket will slow a bit as we go on, and the pitch will offer spin

Gambhir says he would have chased anyway. Only two overseas players in the KKR side today. Lee, Haddin and Shakib are away in Bangladesh, so they aren't playing. Two seamers and three spinners in their XI.

Dhoni, or Captain Fantastic if you are Ravi Sharstri, speaks before the toss: "Good to be back to franchise cricket .. Last 2 days we have been practicing, meeting clients and doing endorsements. Still we tried to get some rhythm going."

Gambhir: "The World Cup is history, this is a new game now. The team is really hungry and we want to start on a good note."

Kirti: "I can't believe I am going through the pain of sitting at home on a friday evening in front of youtube on my laptop just to watch Sunidhi Chauhan lipsync. Its an embarassment. This is a cricket tournament for crying out loud! or atleast calls itself one."
