India beat Pakistan by 29 runs,Final against Sri Lanka

According to the fresh reports from the ICC Criket World Cup 2011, India beat arch rivals Paksitan by 29 runs here at Mohali.

The high voltage match was played between the two big teams of the cricket histro, India v/s Pakistan. The match betwwen these two teams is always a big and this time its semi-final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Indian captain MS Dohni won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan, though, Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi said after loosing toss tha it does not matter to bat first or bowl first.

Sachina and Viru off to a superb start , as Viru hit five fours to Umar Gul in one over.  Viru was out on 38 indivudual score and the Schina took the command and hit some callsic boundries.

After loosing the match against India, a Pakistani fan said, “It's a part of the game and I like coming to India.”
He said, “I think cricket is the winner and we have come for the sake of peace between India and Pakistan. So cricket is the winner and congratulations to India.”


Dhoni said the format of the World Cup had helped the Indians get to a stage just before the final where off-field distractions and on-field pressures could both be handled.


"The format really helped us. We have had quite a few close games where we were tested. Some of the youngsters were tested. They were at the crease at a time when a big performance was needed from them. Slowly they are getting into the groove."


Dhoni said India's performances in the knockouts had given the team a greater sense of comfort going into the final, with regard to the pressures of the event. He compared the last week of the World Cup to a bowler bowling at more than 150kph.


"Once you do that you don't think whether you are bowling 155 or 160. So I think after the semis, the final won't feel much different. The feeling (of the importance of a game) has been static for a while and hopefully that will really help us."
