M. Kaif quits UP captaincy


Some fresh news from the cricket world states that Mohammed Kaif has recently said in a press release that he is going to quit the captaincy of the Uttar Pradesh Ranji cricket team, but he will keep on playing in the team as a batsman.

Meanwhile, the player had nicely led the state team for more than six years. Now, there are reports, that medium-fast bowler R P Singh will takeover the seat of Kaif for the state Ranji Cricket team.

While talking to media, kaif said, “I am happy with my decision as captain of the UP side. In the past six years of the period, we reached the finals four times, and once we won the title. But I want to play just as a batsman in the team.”
