ICC Cricket World Cup- New Zealand v/s Zimbabwe updates

According to the fresh news from the ICC Cricket World Cup match, New Zealand is playing their match against Zimbabwe Played at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmedabad (neutral venue).

ICC Cricket World Cup- Pakistan v/s Canada updates

According to the fresh news from the ICC Cricket World Cup match, Pakistan is playing their match against Canada in Sri Lanka here today.

The Pakistan team won the match by 46 runs.

Batting first, all the Pak players were bowled out at just 184 runs on the board.

ICC Cricket World Cup- South Africa v/s Netherlands updates

According to the fresh news from the ICC Cricket World Cup match, South Africa is playing their match against Netherlands at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, Chandigarh.

However, Netherlands captain won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Batting first, South Africa’s opening batsman gave a superb start. Although, Captain Smith lost his wicket early of the match, with just 20 individual score, but opener Amla was helped a lot by AB de Villiers.

Both the batsmen hit superb centuries.

Amla was the first to get his hundred; he made 113 runs from 130 balls with 8x4.

Now, ICC will take charge of Aus-Zim match Probe

The International Cricket Council (ICC) is now carrying out a scrutiny of the game between Australian and Zimbabwe played at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad.

No doubt, the defending champions won the match quite easily, ICC's anti-corruptions and security unit is looking into the match after the Aussie openers, Shane Watson and Brad Haddin played unusually slow in the first 15 overs.

The two openers put on just 28 runs in 11 overs and 53 in the first 15 when two of the three powerplays were used.

With cricket still coming to terms with the spot-fixing controversy, the ICC is not willing to take any chances. But Australia coach Tim Nielsen sees nothing wrong in the openers' slow approach.

While talking to media, Nielsen said, “I thought they played well in game one. Everyone had this perception that they went slowly. But if Zimbabwe were going to be competitive against us, they needed to take early wickets with their spinners. We're playing the way we think is the right way to play.”

I was Lucky not given out against India, says Ian Bell

The latest updates from the ICC Cricket World Cup reveals, that England batsman Ian Bell said he was lucky to be “pushed back to the crease” by the Umpire Decision Review System when he was most certainly out LBW against India in the thrilling World Cup match that ended in a tie here.

The English player hit superb 69 runs as England tied the scores after being set an imposing target of 339 by the Indians.

He survived the LBW call when he was on 17. He was given not out by the on-field umpire as he had taken quite a few strides down the pitch.

However, the Indian team then appealed against it under the UDRS but the third umpire did not change the decision as under the rules, there was a more than 2.5 metre distance between the point of impact and the stumps.

While talking to media, the English player said, “I did not know whether the rule existed. To be honest, it is strange, if you see the hawk-eye saying it is going to hit the stumps. I saw it pitching on me and hitting the stumps.”

He said, “In the Ashes series, we were getting the results on the positive side. Playing in recent times, I think, we got more decisions right than wrong. If they (ICC) change anything now during the World Cup, we have to get on with it and use it well. As I said, I was lucky as the fourth Umpire pushed me back on to the crease. I wanted to cash in on when they did that.”

MS Dhoni ready for the Big Fight against England

The latest news from the ICC Cricket World Cup matches, MS Dhoni, the captain of India team, said that we are ready to go out to play big innings against England at Bangalore today.

While talking to media, “It is going to be a crucial game for both the sides. We are going all out to maintain the winning momentum that started against Bangladesh in Mirpur last week.”

Further talking to media, the Indian captain reveals that there is no injury issue with Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh, and they are fully fit to play the match today.

The Indian captain was at a pre-match media talks, “Except Ashish (Nehra), all other players are fully fit and will play to their potential. As every one-day game is new, we have to start in a big way whether batting or bowling and execute our plans accordingly to win.”

While answering to a question about England’s batting specilits, Kevin Pieterson, Dhoni said he is the man who can take the game away from any situation, and we are ready take charge of him soon in the innings.

He said, “Individuals do matter, but our approach will be against the entire team. We will adopt strategies as the game progresses to gain advantage. It is also an advantage to play in front of your own fans as their encouragement and support would help us in g our best.”

ICC Cricket World Cup:- Pakistan v/s Sri Lanka updates

According to the latest reports from the ICC Cricket World Cup, 10^th match of the tournament is going on between Pakistan and Sri Lanka Played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo here.

The Pakistan Captain S. Afridi won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, the Pakistan was allout 277 runs on the board with the loss of seven wickets from their 50 overs game.

Once again, the middle order batsmen from the Pak team did their perfectly, while top order again failed.

Pak batsmen, Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, both hit half centuries, with Younis Khan hit 72 runs with 4 fours and Misba was 83 not out with 6 fours.
