India sets 340 runs target against England


As per the latest reports from eh ICC Cricket World Cup, India has managed to make 339 runs all out from their fixed 50 over of the play.

However, all the Indian was got out on 49.5 overs, but still some really very nice batting show has been set by the little master, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir also hit half century in today’s game.

Earlier, the Indian captain, MS Dhoni, won the toss and elected to bat first against the England at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore today.

Batting first, India off to a good start with Sehwag played some beautiful short all over the ground. But he did not last long at the middle, and fell at 35 runs from just 26 balls he faced.

Then, commend was taken by the little master, Sachin played his natural game today, and once again he showed that he is the best. Sachin hit 120 runs of just115 balls with the help of ten fours and 5 huge sixes.

He was nicely helped by G Gabhir (51 off 61 balls with 5x4) and Yuvraj Singh (58 off 50 balls with 9x4).

From the English team, the best bowling fuigures was taken by TT Bresne, he took 5/45 in his ten over.
