World Cup Cricket 2011

Hello friends, as we all know that ICC World Cup Cricket 2011 is knocking at the door, and just a week is left for it to start.

So, before the start of the world cup, I would like to share some amazing fact with you, which might be not known to you..

Fact 1-

In the first World Cup played at England in 1975, India’s opening batsman little master Sunil Gavaskar played the match for complete 60 overs in a match played against England and remained not out, with a mere 36 runs runs scored off 174 balls.

Fact 2-

Indian’s Chetan Sharma, Pakistan’s Saqlain Mustaq, Sri Lanka’s Chaminda Vass and Australian Brett Lee are the four bowler in the world cricket who had taken hat-trick in the World Cup matches.

Fact 3-

India’s opening batsman Kris Srikanth was a hard hitter much before the term became fashionable. “Cheeka” played around 146- ODI matches and scored almost 4,091 runs. He was only the first Indian to take five wickets in a one day twice.
